We had a really good site backed up to the lake with a view of the Dam, with amazing sunsets

Beautiful lakeside campsite with lots of bird sightings in February (36 species). Some hiking and biking possibilities.

We stayed for one night in early December on the way to Florida and wished we had more time. What a lovely and quiet park. We stayed by the lake on Loop C. It was a level back in spot right by the lake. We want to go back.

Wasnt up to what I consider to be COE standards, was not as nice as last time I stayed here 2 years ago. Picnic tables are old and worn out, grass had obviously been overgrown and just mowed, large clumps of dead grass was spread all over the concrete pads. There was a warning for Argentine ants given at the gate when checking in. The whole campground needs some TLC.

Had a great time in the park. Stayed in Loop C in December, and had a very nice lakeside site. Lake views and sunsets were awesome. Bainbridge Ga was 30 minutes away with some restaurants and groceries.

Could see the potential for great fishing and camping but due to understaffing, was not very pet or child friendly.
Huge, beautiful sites, especially those on the water. Funny how it was CST on my phone, but actually park time is EST. Note: Gates close at dark. Nothing much in town. Tallahassee is about an hour drive. We did find it a bit uncomfortable with duck hunters about 200 ft off the bank firing shotguns at dawn. Staff here are wonderful. Great internet service through both AT&T and Verizon.
Staff was knowledgeable and very friendly. Sites were very nice.

Great Army Corps of Engineers campground! Many spacious water front sites! The managers are very friendly and offered advice on local veterinary hospitals, shopping and restaurants! The restrooms were spotless and the park was very laid back and quiet.
Very nice, well kept park. The COE has it going on.

If there are speed tests submitted for a campground the campsite icons will be colored based on the average download speed and the border will be colored based on the average upload speed.
In this example Campsite #123 has very good download speeds and decent upload speeds. If a campsite has a solid yellow color it means there was no data speed detected in the test(s). Clicking on a campsite icon reveals more details.
