Campground was excellent, facilities were clean, sites well maintained, everyone we worked with was friendly and helpful. We were in site 7 on the lake, beautiful sunsets. We have 2 more stays booked for layover on our trip to and from Central Florida soon. If you're looking for a resturaunt, Johnny Macs Woodfire grill in Sneads FL is about 10 minutes away, A+.This campground is definitely on our favorite list.

We've stayed here before but our most recent stay was an overnighter. Large clean sites with partial hookups. Did not use the bath house so can't comment on that.

Enjoyed our time. Spacious campground, with some shade and trees. Happy with the number of campsites within this smallish park. Loved the fact that camp host were visible along with a roaming park ranger.

Our experiences at Eastbank on December 13, 2023 was "stellar". We loved it so much we planned on coming back. We made another reservation for 9 days in April and later was able to extend it to 10, and did. This time, the gate staff were not cooperative and would not listen. I was forced to pay a 50% discount that I thought I had covered otherwise they told me I couldn't get in. They refused to look at my previously paid receipts and confirmations. We had driven six hours to get there and were exhausted. We asked for a manager and was told there was none. We were told the electronic gate pad was for emergencies and if we got left out after 10pm we would have to leave our vehicles at the top of the hill and walk to our site, and, make friends with someone in the camp to bring us back up the hill in the morning. I explained I have a new hip and can't travel that far and they wouldn't budge from their decision. Later, it was found that a trainee at the America the Beautiful office had issued me a Vets card because I was a vet and she said it would work to get me camping discounts. So I bought another pass online. Bathrooms were covered in black mold up to my knees, no hand rails, open public trash containers. Park staff were remarkable and very pleasant and our site was absolutely spotless. They were always pleasant to talk with and just nice people. Later found out that the gate staff could have sold me the correct pass on the spot and been done with it. Instead, they made me pay $140 to pay "full price" and I still had to pay $90 for the seniors pass. I hope the park addresses the attendants behavior as the remaining park staff were absolutely "super". It is a beautiful park and it shouldn't be tarnished with poor customer relations. It's really too bad as this ruined our experience with this once great park.

We enjoyed our stay at Eastbank COE. The views, especially at sunset, were outstanding. It was neat to see so many other campers come out to watch the sunsets each evening. All of the campground hosts were friendly and helpful. The restrooms were always clean. They are rather dated and are in need of updating. The free washer and dryer was a most unexpected bonus. It is easy so see why so many people like to come here.

This was our first time here and boy was it beautiful. We read the reviews and came prepared to deal with the ants. We sprayed before setting up and had no problems the entire 6 days. The sunsets were AMAZING!!! Easy drive to nearby towns if you need anything. We will definitely be back.

We had a beautiful site (07) and beautiful weather. Couldn’t ask for anything more.
We will be returning in March for a week on another beautiful site (28).

Park is very clean, sites are pretty level, and easy to back into. Location is off the beaten path but worth the view alone.

Site, lakeside was great. Was a bit paranoid about the Argentine ants that we learned about upon arrival but didn’t see any. Sites nicely spaced very far apart.

Excellent stay, as usual. No ants in sight, but did spray with Cutter insecticide as advised before our first visit. No better value for your money anywhere!

Check in was quick and easy, the view from the waterfront site was excellent. The facilities were clean and well kept. I would consider returning when I am in the area next. This stay was in January 2021 so it was not crowded, that may during warmer months.
