Lots are extremely spacious and plenty of privacy and every site is mostly on the lake! Bathrooms are just ok. The site we stayed in (72) was closer to the smaller bath house which meant 1 shower stall and 2 toilets. The shower head was not adjustable height wise or pressure wise…shower head felt like it was beating your skin!!!

If you like clean sites, Privacy, close water access and a great staff, Winfield is a great place to spend some quality time camping.

The park attendants are very helpful, the restrooms were clean and the campsites were clean.

We love Winfield Campground. It's one of favorites, close to home, perfect for swimming from our site, easy to fish, good location to "get away". But... the ants are TERRIBLE! We have stayed three different times at four different sites and each time we have been inundated with ants. We spent a lot on DE/Sevin trying to keep them out. Please do something about the ants. The only campgrounds that we have such grief with have been Army Corps of Engineers sites.
