Clean site. A little uneven, but itโ€™s the lake.

Petersburg is our favorite campground. It's close to home, clean and beautiful. We love that we can travel to Petersburg within 30 minutes. The campsites are well laid out and always in good repair. Views are breathtaking.

Site is very sloped down getting in and up getting out. It was hard to find a level spot at the bottom for a 33ft TT. Would definitely pass on this site next time. Would work fine for a pop up or tent,

This camp site is very well maintained and the distance between sites is even better, very spacious.

We were on our way back from FL to TN. We spent one night at Petersburg and it was great! We just discovered COE campgrounds and will definitely be looking for them in future travels.

I booked the campsite online around 2pm. I called to get info about the campsite and no one answered so we kept driving. Arrived to find the office closed and no info at the gate to get in. The hours are not listed on the google search page with the info to about the park. We eventually found them on the park website letting us know the office closed at 4pm. We were not able to enter the property and pretty much gave away $28. I highly recommend booking well in advance and make sure you're there early or you may not get to stay.

Campsites were well spaced and provided significant privacy. Many are right on the lake. Restrooms were clean but not heated. Great hiking on Bartram trail which runs through the campground. Epic mountain biking within 30 minutes at Forks Area Trail System

Very nicely kept COE campground. Lots of lakefront spots that aren't right on top of each other. Most of those you can fish right from the shoreline. Water and electric (30/50) on site. 2 dumping stations. Playground, at least 1 swimming beach, fish cleaning station and clean restrooms/showers (didn't use them though). Not a ton of trails to walk on in comparison to Mistletoe. Would I come back? Definitely! Already have! Great location for a getaway experience close to home. I have a 32 ft TT and followed their recommendations about which site to fit in but could have gotten away with some of the smaller sites. Hard to know ahead of time though. Sites are mostly level though they slope pretty hard closer to the hookups so if you want be a little more level you have to take up a lot of the site space. PS - have verizon. 1 bar. can get text messages, phone calls in certain spots and maybe stream music. Video and other data is no good.
