We always enjoy our stays at Petersburg Campground. We find the lake peaceful and relaxing. We watched a family of eagles and beavers . Unfortunately hurricane Helene came thru and downed hundreds of trees.

Beautiful Campground. Bathrooms could use an update. Could also use a few more throughout the park. Only one loop was open the others were all closed. I believe they were closed for updating. I could hear them felling trees. The men with us said the pressure and heat in the showers was great. The women said only the handicapped one was good in our loop (A). I used our shower in our camper. It had good pressure. We were on site 25 & 23. They were very nice sites with water & electric. Right on the water. We would stay here again.

Site 25 was the most beautiful campsite Ive ever stayed at. Site was level with an amazing view of the lake. No ants the last week of February. Was able to talk/text with T-Mobile, but had a hard time sending pictures. Overall, I had a great time here and cant wait to go back.

We had an absolutely wonderful time. The campground (especially the bathhouse) was exceptionally clean. The campground hosts were super friendly. Beautiful campground.

Winter camping at Petersburg is limited to one loop, but there are some really nice sites. Two dump stations, both well set up, water and 50/30/20 electric at the sites. If ever back this way, we'd definitely stay here. Though most of the loops were closed for camping, we enjoyed walking through the roads and checking out all of the campsites to get our exercise. The hiking trail that crosses the entry road is nice, offering great hiking along unspoiled shoreline.

It was a fabulous campground! Almost every site was pull through and on water. We did not use the bathrooms or showers.

This is a BEAUTIFUL campground! The sites are spacious, flat, and clean. The majority of the sites are paved and pull-thru. Many are kayak friendly meaning it is easy to put you kayak in right from your shoreline. If you are looking for a great camping/water activity campground, then this is it!

Site 25 was beautiful. The only issue was the cold weather. We will definitely be back when it's warmer. Also, they have the best bike trails we have ever been on.

The campground itself was wonderful! Our spot was right on the water with a great view. We just won’t be back until it warms up because we learned the hard way that it isn’t very fun to camp in a tent in freezing weather. Mom, you were right.
