Petersburg is the only COE campground with an open loop through the winter. The sites are very large and on the water. Great stay every time!

Wonderful campsite. Campers are pleasant and sociable. Entrance office greeter gave knowledge on Whittfield campsite close by. This is our 3rd time at Petersburg and the Good Lord willing, well be back plenty more! Hiking and biking trails. Easy access to waterfront.

Wonderful place to camp, dog walk, ride a bicycle, and kayak. Petersburg gives Georgia State Parks a run for their money. But don’t worry, we’ll keep coming back to Petersburg.

The campsites are big and spacious and the grounds are well kept. I would be prepared to use your camper showers ,the restrooms are not very nice.

Camp sites are on the water & beautiful. You are not crammed on top of each other. Camp hosts are very helpful and great to talk to. Maintenance folks do a great job keeping the showers / restrooms cleaned as well as the general property area. They even blow the leaves & pine straw off the roads.

Love Petersburg camp ground and the host have always been very helpful when needed for minor things

I tent camped at site 15. Beautiful location in a cove. Sue the ranger was very helpful in providing additional information about sites and camping. Its very well maintained and quiet.

Most beautiful campground around with very large & quiet sites. Camp hosts are very helpful and friendly. We love Petersburg as it is open all year.

We wanted to stay an extra day but had to book two days in order to do that. The staff said I could be reimbursed for the other day but then said they were able to reimburse me. So Im out 26$. Bummer.
