Amazing site right on the water. Gravel could use a refresh and maybe some additional grading to better control runoff. In a heavy rain situation (which we didnt experience), it was apparent that the site, sitting between higher ground and the lake, would not be a pleasant place. Overall we had an amazing time and campground was fantastic.

No one at the gate on arrival and when departing early the next morning. Proceeded to the reserved site without any problem.

It's a nicely laid out campground with large lots and each with a view of the water. Restrooms are maintained and clean. Minor suggestions for improvement: include a scheme for site drainage when it rains, and better showerheads would be appreciated.

This is one of the best corps of engineers campgrounds we have ever stayed in. It was clean, well maintained,and the hosts were very friendly. We already have reservations for November there.

Site is a little sloped but beautiful, the view is great. The people at the check in are very nice. Love this park.

This campground had some of the most beautiful sites or any park we've ever stayed in: most are pull throughs; most are private and most are RIGHT on Thurmond Lake. To top it off, if you have a Senior pass, the rate is half price, so only $14/night! We will be back!!

Size of the lots were perfect. Great view, easy setup. Clean showers and toilets. Convenient to Augusta with shopping and restaurants.

Not able to go our camper got stuck in the mud and we were not able to go called the gate house and cancelled but only got a $13 refund very disappointing
