SITE 40 Great spot with private steps to swim beach. Cell service with T-mobile is great and Wifi through Verizon home internet was good too. You'll get the afternoon sun here and some frogs at night :) You must make a complete U-turn to get here, could be troublesome for larger campers. Site is very level and faces WEST for great sunsets. Very quiet, private site.

I think Petersburg has the best camping at Clark hill lake. We were a little disappointed at the slight reduction of maintenance in certain areas of the facility as compared to previous years. For instance, lighting around the shower houses is poor and not maintained.

Beautiful campground. Almost every site is on the water. Most are large drive through sites with lots of space between sites and plenty of foliage separating sites for a more private feel.

Staff were friendly and very helpful during our stay. The park experience and facilities are very good.

Nah. You’ll hate this place. Really! Don’t even bother! Nothing you’ll want to see here. Just keep on moving down the road! Go get a motel room! Sell the RV! Go buy a time share! For your sake, I’ll go ahead and book all the spots for the next 20-30 years to keep you from making the same mistake we made. Yep. Biggest mistake ever! Cause now we will compare all camping experiences to this place!

I was at the campsite during nov...it was cold and the bathrooms did not have adequate heating for showering
