The site was clean and staff was great. Restrooms and showers were clean and within walking from our spots. Also, 2 large bald eagle nest were directly across the water from out site.

SO SPACIOUS AND PEACEFUL. THERE ARE A FEW SPOTS THAT ARE REALLY STEEP THE GET INTO. OTHERWISE, WE WILL DEFINITELY BE BACK!

The people who manage this park were rude, unhelpful and the experience left us feeling as though we were an inconvenience. We arrived at 10:20, they wouldn't let us enter the park, gate was locked. (Why isn't there a code like there is a Seminole State Park?) Looking for change to run coin operated laundry facilities, the man didn't open the glass window to talk, he simply shook his head. There's more...the slope into our site was so steep, it scraped the bottom of the motorhome's jacks. (Shouldn't the steepness be noted when booking this site?) Finally, when inquiring about a site change so we could come and go without scraping the jacks, the woman said no, not on weekends. I said it was for Monday. I was planning ahead and well aware of the weekend policy. She said that I'd have to talk to her husband on Monday. What the heck! Oh, BTW, the bathroom had two stalls. In the handicap stall the toilet seat was broken.

Very nice campground. Almost all sites have some shade. For campers who prefer a beach area there is one loop that are Beach front sites. Great for families with children. Most of the camps sites are on the water. Plenty of areas for bike riding and also hiking trails v

The site was too steep for our camper. We called ahead of time and was told there would be no problem. That was not the case. Thankfully some fellow campers had jacks to lift the back end high enough for us to back in.

Absolutely a beautiful campground to go and get away! Peaceful and clean. Our friends caught catfish, we had a fish fry that night and it was delicious! Highly recommend this campground!

A great camp ground. Most of the sites are spaced for privacy. All have full hookup. We go every chance we can (if you can get in because they are booked most of the time).

The campsites are very nice and the bath houses are nice and always clean. The thing I enjoy the most is the beaut of the scenery and how peaceful it is.

Upon arriving at the campground we were extremely upset to find that the drastic change in slope of driveway to trailer pad was so extreme that we were unable to back into our spot .. after attempting several maneuvers it was obvious that we wouldnt be able to get our trailer in without damaging it. Looking at the pad you could see where multiple campers had also scraped the pavement. This is not obvious from the pictures of sites 30/31 ! Causing more stress was the fact that the campground was full and we were only able to get another spot due to having another family member checking in who had a smaller trailer and literally had to take it off road to get into our spot and we took theirs. This is obviously an issue and needs to be fixed ! Otherwise beautiful campground.

Great clean buddy sites with full hookup. A little steep backing in but doable. Right on the water. Nice hiking trail and very clean restrooms.
