If you want to get away from things, this place fits the bill. Be aware of the wild kingdom (gators, racoons, turtles, squirrels, deer and several types of birds) right outside of your RV door. It was nice to get laundry done there though. Also many sites were subject to flooding as they dipped way down to back in. So do your homework on your site picks.

A very nice, quiet place to escape to in the dead of winter (temps were in the 60's and 70's. The camp sites are large and well maintained, complete with picnic table, fire ring, lantern pole and a separate fish cleaning table(?). All sites have nice views of the water. Why people insist on trying to burn aluminum cans, plastic bottles and their other garbage is beyond me. The folks responsible for cleaning the fire pits promptly responded to my request and were efficient (although, it really should have been done prior to my arrival). And the winter rates for seniors with a National Parks Senior Pass can't be matched anywhere (50% of daily rate). This is an Army Corps of Engineers site and all utilities (Water, Electric AND Sewer) were updated and in good working order. During the off season, this campground allows you to extend your stay beyond 14 days, but a separate reservation and a site move are required. I've stayed here three times in the last 6 weeks. I expect to return in the fall

Love this place.... Cotton Hill is one the best places we have visited. We did some paddle boarding on the lake, had somemore's at the camp fire and hamburgers on the grill. We rode bikes around the park and walked the nature trail.The host are always friendly and helpful. We always emjoyed our stays at Cotton Hill. We will be back.

The campground is simply amazing! We were booked-in for 4 days, but decided to stay another 5 days because the place was so beautiful.

A beautiful campground on Lake Eufaula, you can see the lake from most any site. Shade trees, hiking trails, dog park, fish cleaning station, fishing from the bank, has it all . The sites are spacious and separated well for privacy. The hosts while we were there were great, they were helpful and gracious.

Another great COE campground. Most sites are fairly spacious, with a water view. Some back-in sites have quite a slanted approach, though the sight itself is level. Not much to do in the area, but the park itself is really nice for hiking,boating, fishing, and especially relaxing.
