Our site was next to the inlet on the north side. Many sightings of a variety of birds. Terrific sunshine and beautiful sunsets. Groups of whitetail deer were seen on our frequent walks. The bathroom/shower building in our loop was unheated and there wasn't any hot water. It was a reasonably short walk to the facility in the next loop which was comfortably heated and had endless hot water for showers. Overall, it was a very nice stay.

Excellent place to stay just to get away or to hike the canyon. Providence canyon is only 45 minutes north and has all the hiking opportunities you could possibly want. The lake itself is enough for us. Great kayaking and fishing. There are some sites that are pretty steep and depending on your rig you could drag. We've walked the whole park and noted sites we like. If you like swimming you'll want to get something in the pine loop. The host have always been nice and helpful. We love to stay here from time to time just to get away.
