I have stayed at Cotton Hill Campground multiple times over several years. Always, it has been a wonderful camping experience for my entire family. We enjoy bike riding, swimming, walking and camping. The Corps of Engineers always does a first class job when it comes to the recreational experience!

Cotton Hill is a very well maintained campground. Each campsite had full electric, water, and sewer hook-up which was very convenient.

The campsite was directly next to the lake facing west and it was beautiful! The pad was a little rough and there was a somewhat steep slope to get in. The grassy area had shade all day. The restrooms were very clean. These were the friendliest neighbors ever. During the week it was super quiet. Not much to do in the area. Thank goodness there was a nearby Dollar General and a cheap ice station. I did drive to Kolomoki Mounds and enjoyed that very much. I would love to return but it is a 6 hour drive for me and don't expect to be back, much to my sadness.
