We have been coming there for 40 years and love it, the problem is the spots where you back in to are terrible. We stayed in 92 and a tree root pushing up through what's left of the asphalt almost caught the jack on my motorhome. You would think instead of closing these parks for upgrades and repairs as frequently as they do why not close one section at a time , fix that then move on to another. Joey Haddock..

Campground not as clean as it use to be; high grass and dirty fire pits.
We have stayed a few COE campgrounds. This one has a great setting with great views. The swimming area was very nice.
However, it seems that this campground needs improvement and maintenance. The driveway to our campsite 93 is crumbling and needs to be repaired. Driving around the campground it was noted that many of the driveways are in bad condition. The road to Pine Island needs to be repaved.

Cotton Hill is a beautiful campground with three areas within it. The one I stayed in would be my chosen one because it has a lovely beach for swimming. The grounds are clean. The backin sites need work as some of the backins have roads with wide holes. These were probably caused by A hurricane. All sites are large and private with complete hookups.

Mobile Data Speed Map
#123
If there are speed tests submitted for a campground the campsite icons will be colored based on the average download speed and the border will be colored based on the average upload speed.
In this example Campsite #123 has very good download speeds and decent upload speeds. If a campsite has a solid yellow color it means there was no data speed detected in the test(s). Clicking on a campsite icon reveals more details.
