Even with rain for 2 days the stay was fun.

The sites are very spacious with adequate parking. The boat ramp is easily acceptable. The hosts are very helpful. The local area offers historic sites such as the old fort at Fort Gaines and Kolomoki Indian Mounds in Early County. Lake Walter F. George offers great fishing.

Nice campground, plenty of down wood for fires. Sites are a little closer than some Corps of Engineers' campgrounds. The bath house in the Marina View loop needs a revamp of the hot water system. The women's showers were not hot.

Cotton Hill campground is a beautiful well maintained site located on the shore of beautiful lake Walter F George on the Georgia/Alabama line.
Almost all of the campsites have beautiful water views and close access to a boat ramp conveniently located in the campground.
The staff managing the campground is very friendly and helpful.
Will definitely make return visits.

Love the park. Love the big spacious sites. Love that every site has a fire pit, grill, table, and small table by the grill. Check-in was easy and staff was very pleasant. Our only complaint was that the showers barely trickled water and only 1 of the 2 showers in the women's room had a shower head. Bathrooms were clean though. We will come back again. Great place!

Most beautiful place, beautifully remote, great staff. One con..... The shower heads need to be changed out. They are clogged with calcium particles.
