As always, we had a eutrophication to Cotton Hill. Site 80 is nice. The sun in the afternoon is awful when its 95 degrees but would be great any other time of the year. The reason Im giving 3 stars instead of 5 is the overall look of the entire park. The grass was knee high. Limbs down everywhere, even on the site. Had to clean the site before my husband could back in. When you pay to come to these campgrounds you expect better. It is one our favorites but the COE need to drastically step up their game.

Our stay was great aside from the massive infestation of fire ants in the grass between the beach and the campsites. The fire ants are the reason why I did not give 5 stars. We could not walk to the beach without getting bit by ants.

Stayed at site 80. Beautiful view of the water. Nice large sites with shade and grass. The sites are angled so it gave you nice views and some privacy. The grounds are well kept. Big plus for us was the huge dog area. They have two very large fenced dog areas. It was nice to be able to exercise our dog everyday. Definitely coming back for a longer stay!

Beautiful serene place. Campground and bath houses are very well kept and clean. One of the more Beautiful COE we have visited. Hope to go back soon! The hosts are always very pleasant and helpful...🙂❤

Had a great visit, nice lake front site. Not crowded. Love to stay here. Good for bike rides, walking, and sitting and watching the sunset.

Always a great pleasure staying at Cotton Hill Campground. Fortunately it is only about 50 miles from us so it is convenient and with full hookups. Well maintained park right on the Walter F. George lake. Excellent!

Cotton Hill is always a pleasure for us! The views are amazing and deer roam freely throughout the park. You can't go too wrong with water elect and sewer. Bring a bicycle to tour the park as there's plenty to see. Fishing is great too. We caught several bass from the shoreline (catch and release). It was a very pleasant adventure and we will be returning many times in the near future.

I think this is probably the best park we have visited in a long time. Very clean, well managed and scenic. Add all that together and have a great time camping, fishing and bike riding.

The view of the lake from this site is magnificent. The sunset is definitely a moment to see and remember. Very nice and convenient for fishing, boating, playing, all within short distance of your site. They take care of this park. When we arrived at our site last week we had to call the ranger station. We use 30 amp service but the 30 amp plug-in at the site was burnt and melted. We called and were told it would be a few minutes before someone could come and see. In a few minutes an electrician showed up and not only did he replace the 30 amp plug-in, but also replaced the breaker switch and wires. Then tested it for us prior to our plugging in. That is great service and much appreciated! Our family loves going to Cotton Hill.
