Beautiful and Relaxing site

Victoria Campground is a very nice COE property on Lake Allatoona. The campground appears to be reasonably well maintained although we didn't use any of the facilities available to assess if they were being maintained. The only complaint we have relates to the trees on the road leading to the campground and inside the campground. We have a 40' motorhome that is 13'2" tall. There are a lot of trees that hang over the roads and hit our roof. The COE should trim the trees in the campground including in each site and work with the local county to do the same on the roads leading to the campground.

Attendants were lovely people, great site, clean restrooms and overall quiet and relaxing camping adventure.

Was disappointed to learn there was no dock available to campers, even though "dock" was listed as a feature of the campground. Also, there is no walkable path to the separate launch ramp, there is a fence blocking the way for some reason. There is no place to keep a boat, even briefly, near the campsites.

I have stayed here many times and the park staff are great. The location is ideal for local events and for 1 day trips to the mountains.
