As fulltimers, this was not our first visit to Victoria, in fact it is where our adventure started over 6 years ago, so Victoria with its beauty alongside Lake Allatoona will always have a soft spot for us.Victoria is just outside the thriving town of Woodstock, with 2 Walmarts, Target, Publix and Kroger, as well a big Outlet Mall and a Costco.There are many restaurants, eateries and theaters around as well.

We found the campground really nice. The sites were clean and level with asphalt pads. The hosts were extremely helpful and nice. We recommend this Campground for anyone staying in the area. I can imagine the area is really beautiful in the fall. We were on site #46. Very shady and close to the beach area of the lake. We were also really pleased with the Rangers driving through the campground several times during the day. Bathhouses were clean and two dump stations helped prevent lines waiting to dump. The only negative is the gate is locked at 10:30 p.m For folks attending the late baseball games in the area you may have to park in the overflow area and get your vehicle the next morning.

Ourhome campground, we love going here even if for short time. Only issue is the antsonly campground we have ever had a problem with ants so come prepared

Victoria is a very nice campground. The views of the lake are beautiful, it has a nice beach area and a fun playground for the kids. We stayed for 11 days and our only issue was that the bath house was not cleaned during our stay. People left empty bottles, soap & trash in the bath areas and it was never cleaned out.

The staff are very helpful and caring. Camping was fun I would say the only draw back was the water was down very low and the toxic green algae was everywhere. I know this can kill dogs if they drink it and can cause harm to humans. I'm only reporting it as it may be good to put warning signs up to prevent illness.

We stayed at campsite 46. It was a perfect location for our grandson to ride his back around the park and walk to the beach. The park wasn't very crowded since we camped mid-week which is always a plus. We saw deer several times a day and enjoyed all the birds. It was a great time.
