Conveniently located in Lake Moomaw- a nice campground that only takes reservations. I had to make a last minute reservation which I didnt want to do but messed up directions to get to another campground. Really enjoyed the site but was disturbed a bit by the chain sawing at 8 AM. Overall a good spot!

We camped during the last open week of camping and had only one visible neighbor. The park was clean and the facilities were in camp usable condition. We wanted to camp at Lake Moomaw, however, there is no direct access to the lake from this campground. We followed trails hoping to get to the lake, but they all basically paralleled the campground. If you have a driveable camper, it will be necessary to move your camper to get to the lake.

Loved the campsite itself. Sadly some of the other guests wanted to party all night long, loud music and singing and loud talking. Camp host no where to be found. Not the first time. Bottom line don’t come here in the summer if you want any peace and quiet.
