We love Sherando Lake campground. The volunteers are friendly and the grounds and facilities are well kept. We have been here three times and this latest time introduced our grand son to the joys of camping. We love that it's not too far from home, and is 30 away from Blue Mountain Brewery so we can take our dog to dinner or lunch with us. Our grandson loved playing in the sand by the lake even though it was too cold to swim.

First off I want to say, my wife Ali and I are volunteers at Sherando Lake Family Campground for the last 5 or more years and we love the campground ,and actually we will be volunteering in September of this year.We reserved site C6 from June 26th to July 4th I have to tell you the host Wendy was amazing she was right on top of everything the bathrooms were very clean ,smelling nice ,and the sites were very well maintained .here’s a lady that Dave Whitmore and Kelley Sims better not lose Excellent Campground we need more volunteers like Wendy.
