The "B" and "C" campsites are very nice and the lake is beautiful. The ropes should be knoted on floated on the lake and improvement. Also, gets the dogs out the lake where people are swiming.

Excellent site, well maintained. Friendly staff. Had a water shortage during our stay. Limited to no water at dump station

Camp ground hosts, Steve and Kim made the Sherando stay fantastic. Campsites are spotless, levelish and roomy. No problem backing 38 foot class A into spots CO1, C10 & C13. Last two are shaded.

I have visited and stayed at Sherando Lake for over 50 years and have always enjoyed the experience. However, one of the worst problems that we have encountered, not only at Sherando, but many other Forest Service, NPS, and state park campgrounds is that there are too many campers bringing to many dogs and the dogs are urinating on the camp sites. The odor is disgusting and the frequent barking is very annoying. My recommendation is that the campgrounds should have designated sites for those bringing dogs and/or designated areas that should be used for dogs to urinate or defacate.

Clean campground; nicely shaded campsites. Volunteer group was outstanding!

Nice campground. Friendly camp hosts. Beautiful scenery. Some sites a little close but not too bad. We had noisy neighbors, but mostly because they were old (like us) and just talked loud all the time. Lakes are awesome and hiking great. Will be back!

The curfew isn’t recognized by most campers. It was loud until well after midnight. I informed the host about it. Other than not being able to get to sleep we had a nice time. The sites were very clean and well maintained

We were told we had to leave on the 31st. due to a mix up in reservations. Everyone left the campgrounds per the request of the host. He said we would be reimbursed for the nights we did not stay. Still waiting for the funds??? The host seems anxious to get out of dodge and was really pushing for everyone to leave. He made the stay very negative. The park itself is great. Please explain when we ( other campers) will receive our refund!???
