I had 3 different campsites and all were excellent. They have concrete pads and driveways with cute picnic table / shelter. Got to see a gator swim by the campsite as well as manatees. The grounds are well maintained. Quiet campground. There is a nice fishing pier you can walk out on.

Great clean and well care for campground, great for relaxation relax and to do some fishing, also short drive to restaurants and other amenities.

Good value with our senior pass, half off. Picnic table is situated so it is right behind camper next door. Paved level site with gravel picnic area and fire pit. Campground is very bright at night.

We loved the site and would love to come back again. Mike (camp host) was friendly and helpful and we enjoyed meeting him. We would highly recommend W.P. Franklin and hope we can get a site again next winter!!

This place is so awesome. It is quiet and peaceful. Mike is super and bends over backwards to assist campers.

the most gorgeous rv park we have ever stayed. being on an island meant water views galore. host was fantastic! site 12 easily fit our 37 foot 5th wheel and our truck, although there are also parking spots that were right near our site. would definitely come again even though getting a reservation was difficult.

We visited in May 2022. Very clean and quiet. We enjoyed watching the boats pass through the locks as well as the wild life! Highly recommend!

We kayaked down river to Telegraph creek. What fun. Very quiet and beautiful.

Great little park! We saw alligators and manatees plus a ton of birds! We were the only folks there with kids and although we could see the playground across the river there wasn't one within 15 mins. Great little you-pick tomatoes and strawberries farm within 5 mins and Publix was about 10mins away. Park was super clean and the hosts were very friendly. We have a 36' fifth and fit easily in the site. Showers and bathrooms were nice and clean. We got to watch tons of boaters launch from the boat launch and even saw a few sailboats go through the lock. Would recommend and stay at this campground again. If you're there on a cold morning make sure to stop by Manatee Park to see tons of manatees warming in the water!

This an amazing park! Beautiful scenery, sun rise and set in every site. Clean restrooms lawn maintenance is perfect and all sites paved and level. It's cool to see the Tarpon jump out of the water near the dam as well.
