I hesitate to post this because I don't want anyone else to know how great of a campground this is, LOL. I had a wonderful time here. The staff were friendly and helpful, the other campers were quiet and respectful, the sites are beautiful, well-layed out, easy to back into, and everything worked. Just a top-notch campground, close to everything but far enough away to make you feel somewhat isolated. Will definitely be back!

CG Host ANDREW, is on his golf cart patrolling the grounds & came by to check up on me when RV mobile tech was fixing my campervan. I feel safe as a solo women knowing hes looking out for us! Appreciate you, Andrew!

Great campground with large sites. Most are full sun. One of the hosts is over controlling of campers and makes staying here less than pleasant.

Rally difficult to reserve a campsite here, and I can understand why - it's a great little campground! The campground itself is very well maintained, and the campground hosts are diligent about keeping it neat. There's a nice fishing pier with a great view of the dam. It's also close enough to Fort Myers to easily grocery shop and it's an easy drive to Manatee Park.

A small, busy, out of the way location. Very quiet and peaceful. We missed having bike trails to ride from the park. There are some nearby within a relatively short drive. It is convenient to Ft Meyers and the Everglades.

The views were great, every site was waterfront except for a few in the middle that were pull through. There was a nice sitting area and great pier to walk out on. I was running late leaving and the camp host was rushing me ten minutes after the deadline. The next person checking in was already there. She let them in and check in is supposed to be at noon. I got everything done, finished dump station and was out at 11:25. If I knew I could check in at 11 on arrival day that would have been so much better for my schedule, I waited till noon like we were supposed to.

Beautiful clean park. All sites are waterfront. Both staff and fellow campers were friendly and helpful. I am going back and made reservations for 2 more weeks. Highly recommended..

W.P. Franklin COE Campground is top notch. It's clean, it's neat, it's well maintained. The sites are big enough, the trees are a plus offering nice shade. The parking spaces for cars are a plus so that the campers don't have to park their tow vehicles on their site. There's a 180 degree view of water and the sunsets are spectacular. There's not much for kids to do, no playground, no swimming due to alligators and strong river currents.

Had a nice overnight stay. So clean and well kept. The grounds were beautiful and the bathrooms were the best. Hope we can stay ther again someday.

This is a great park with roomy waterfront sites. Very clean facilities. Just dont go in May. The mayflies in the grass flew into our camper every time we opened the door. Fortunately we have two doors and the flies stayed near the other door

These sites are clean spacious and have covered picnic tables and charcoal grill. All are water view.

Campground was very clean and quiet. A very unique campground. All sites on the water. We were able to fish from our site and the pier. We will be back. An overall good experience.
