One of my favorite places to camp. Volunteers are very friendly and helpful. The park is well maintained and clean.

We camped on site#7 @ WP FRANKLIN. We had to pull our shades at night due to the extremely bright lights on the front of the bath house. They Stay on day and night. They need to be turned toward the bathhouse and not shining out in the campground. 2nd problem are the RATS around sites 6-7-8. Our ROOF AC stopped working and after taking off the SHROUD I found an 8" rat jammed between the cage fan and the frame. We've talked with other people that have camped on these sites and they have also complained about the RATS. DON'T STAY ON THESE SITES.....rats are everywhere. 3rd....the HOOLIGAN BOATERS that come in on the weekends are simply HOOLIGAN TRASH. LOUD OBNOXIOUS TRASH....speeding as the leave, throwing trash out their windows. Most are Hispanic trash....no regard for laws or this country. Why this is allowed goes beyond belief. DISGUSTING TRASH PEOPLE.....NUFF SAID

The campsite was beautiful but nearby construction was very noisy early each morning and throughout the day. Heavy construction vehicle noise was not the fault of the Ranger staff at campground but our natural experience was negatively impacted but dawn to dusk noise.

Site #7 has a very nice and private space. the bathrooms and the whole campground are very clean! we will come back :)

I could not get the star rating to work but - W P Franklin is one of our favorite campgrounds! It is excellent. It's beautiful. The spaces are large and well cared for. We love to stay here.

Great camping experience. Campground is well maintained with cement parking pads. Camp host were very friendly and helpful. Hope to camp there again!

Laundry has been removed.Pole lights have been installed that are excessively bright and burn all night. Bright enough to read a book outside anytime during the night. No longer can see the night sky or count the stars. Of course the light nearest the campground hosts has been turned off. Hard to sleep with bright lights in the trailers windows!There is less light camping in a WalMart parking lot!

WPFranklin is a great campground. The staff was so nice. It is clean, well manicured lawns. Nice RV pads with covered picnic tables, there are grills and fire pits. Every site is water front. We were there on the hottest weekend of the year. It was hot! No place to swim, there are gators in the water. Cant wait to go back when it gets a bit cooler.

One if the most beautiful , clean, best water pressure campgrounds I've been at. I lived for 21 years bout 25 miles from it and never took the time to check it out. My bad. Host staff is wonderful people.

We happened upon this campground while tent camping with the Cub Scouts at the regional park down the street (decided to look around on the GPS & spotted this little slice of paradise!).Nice & quiet, kids love it for fishing.

Very nice place on a little Island in the river. On the north side we saw our first to Delphine - amazing.To enjoy the fireplace in the sundown was lovely.Activities seams to be reduced... only fishing and walking to the close Nationalpark but a beautiful place to come down.Thanks

This facility is first rate, well managed and is impeccably maintained. The hosts are friendly and very helpful. The people that clean the restrooms, shower units do a great job. The groundskeeping crew makes this campground rival a fine resort.

W.P. Franklin is one of our favorite places to camp. We enjoy the setting on the canal, and watching the wildlife. We appreciate the friendly and helpful hosts. It is nice to have recycling bins provided and the restrooms are usually clean. We would greatly appreciate it if laundry facilities were provided.

We loved staying at this campground. We stayed on site number7 and were struck by how we had a sense of being fully alone along with the river. It was very, very peaceful! I am disabled and use a wheelchair, but we were not in the ADA campsite. The gravel was a bit of a problem for my chair. At the same time, the restrooms and showers were nearby and were absolutely perfect for me to get in and use. They were immaculately clean. Also, both campsite host couples couldn't have been more friendly or helpful. I would highly recommend this campground for a wonderful weekend away!
