We have stayed here several times the last 4 years and enjoy it immensely. However, the rest rooms and showers are showing their age and no updating has been done. This trip there were a dozen or more fishermen allowed in on Saturday night after the posted closing time (sunset) for the fishing pier and somehow got the gate code to come and go. Most were there until after 11pm.

Excellent sites. Wonderful staff and volunteers we met and spoke with. Great knowledge and history of area. Bath and showers very clean but could use more showers

Beautiful place to enjoy nature, the sun, and the fresh air with the family. I would definitely book again. I recommend it 100%

Campsites are beautiful. Close to shopping, fishing and restaurants.

W P Franklin locks is always an excellent campground. However it is starting to show its age. It appears the government has cut back maintenance funds. A lot of the Picknic tables are rusted and the wood is rotting. The bathrooms are in need of repair. Some toilets do not work properly. Otherwise the staff is always great. Highly recommend.

One of our favorite spots. Love the fact we can just throw in a line right from our bank or walk over to the pier. Not a lot to do but that's why we love it, you can actually decompress.

#30 faces the Big Dipper at night. Close to the boat ramp at day. Loved the family time and was such a blessing.

A beautiful setting with excellent facilities. Every site is a waterfront site. Level, concrete pads with nice asphalt roads, manicured grass. and a boat ramp. The lock is open to view boat traffic. Hard to get a spot here because it is so popular. Absolutely loved the place....!

Voluntee Mike welcome every camper as home here, he always call you if you might be late chech in. Confirm you know the code number of the gate.They keeps the campground site as charming as it is.

We just did not like the neighborhood kids coming in there after hours(midnight). They went on pier to fish and then walked around the campground.

Thia is an awesome campground, well up the excellent standards of the Army Corps of Engineers we have come to love. Cleanliness, facilities, landscaping and, of course, water and lock and dam. Wish we could stay there year 'round!

Beautiful site on water. Lots of birds to watch. Very friendly hosts and fellow campers. Clean and safe only preregisyered for 2 nights liked it so much we stayed four nights
