The facilities were nice, clean and, well maintained. The host on the other hand treated me like a criminal inspite of me doing nothing wrong and them looking at the wrong browser.

Franklin Lock campground had a laundry room years ago and would benefit from having it back. Also, Wi-Fi is needed. Had a great site (24) and enjoyed seeing the pair of woodpeckers in their nest there.

Only s few lots have useful shade. A winter months favorite, but mid-May was a scorcher.

Beautiful quiet campground, large level sandy sites. Recycling bins were not clearly labeled, which was still not an excuse for selfish campers and day users who dumped their trash into the recycling bins instead of the trash dumpster that was 10 steps away.

We love the Corp of Engineers sites. Always clean, mowed, level...Robb and furry little buddy were perfect hosts. We will be back!

The big problem I acquired was the trees. Whoever runs this campground should drive an RV through the TREES, My RV is 13'6" high with the antenna's sticking up higher an RV is more than twice as high as an automobile. I got scratches on my new 2022 RV not very pretty, I stayed here a few months ago and mentioned it to the host, she said she will pass it along to the proper person in charge. Well, that did not happen, or it went on deaf ears. PLEASE PLEASE take care of the tree problem so not to damage people's property. Also, the wood on the picnic tables is rotting away. Needs a little attention and tender care. Another thing is the gravel has weeds growing up through it. You need to do a thorough inspection of the place. We were wondering what the job description is of the attendants.

We were running late (about 2 hours) from checkin time. Got a cell call from Missie (sp) just checking to make sure we were okay and going to be arriving on scheduled day. What a great surprise! She cared about us. Told us to just go to site and she would get with us after we settled in. AND YES she came by to check on us after we had set up. GREAT volunteer.

This park is beautifully maintained. We enjoyed watching the boats going through the locks. It is close enough to Ft. Myers for shopping needs, or entertainment. Camp host were friendly and helpful. We will come back here again.

The day after Labor Day weekend….half the spots were surprisingly empty. Very peaceful and quiet and beautiful with water on both sides. Will try to return several time’s this year if we can squeeze in. Love COEs….long paved sites abd great water locations. Very clean and orderly.
