Clean park. Campground hosts awesome. Quiet

Small, but nice waterfront campground. Sites are all level, paved, and have a covered picnic table. Some sites have shade at least part of the day. Nice fishing pier and boat ramp available. Restroom needs some TLC, but was clean. Camp host was available and friendly.

A small but nice campground on the river. 50 and 30 amp power, water, but no sewer. A handy dump-station at the exit. We will visit again.

We always love visiting this park. It is so beautiful and well maintained. This trip, we were supposed to spend 4 nights in site 8 which is one of the shorter sites, we would need to park our car by the bathroom. When we checked in, the host asked if we would like to take 22 instead as they had had a cancellation and site 22 would accommodate our rig and our car. We were thrilled as 22 is one of our favorite sites! Just another example of how great the hosts are!!

Beautiful location. The grounds and facilities are always well kept and the gate staff very friendly and helpful. We seldom leave the campground during our visit but rather relax and enjoy the quiet atmosphere. Also enjoy kayaking the Caloosahatchee River and Hickey Creek.

Excellent camp ground, well kept and maintained. Plan on returning in October.
The only problem was parking, I have a large GMC to hall my trailer and I could not keep it at the site. I parked it in one of the local spots but when In stayed on the pavement, it stuck out in the road way and made it hard for the RV's coming in to pass. I was not allowed to put it on the grass as per the rules. The parking spaces should be extended 2 ft so vehicles would not block the road,
Other wise, GREAT WEEK

Campground is well-designed, attractive and meticulously maintained. The Corps of Engineers provides the best campgrounds in the federal system.

Absolutely wonderful, peaceful, relaxing park. Great fishing on the lock. Sites are a little tight but very nice and clean. Camp hosts were wonderful

Hello fellow campers , made our reservation 6 months in advance and was not disappointed , great location , great campsites , excellent facilities, friendly staff .. Kayaked right from boat launch on the river , got to some beaches that arent too far away and made it to a Twins spring training game ,also only a 30 minute drive away . Will be back , thanks

Every site at this campground is great but we prefer the spots on the west side for Kayaking.
