The sites here are awesome and kept well. It is a very,very quiet campground. We had our dogs and as dogs do they bark, the ranger wasn't very forgiving and it made us uncomfortable. Not sure we'll be back. Otherwise it was a good site for quiet and relaxing.

The facilities were clean, staff was very helpful and the site had ample shade. We enjoyed our stay.

We love visiting COEs and our State Parks. Weve been to our other two COEs, so we had to visit this one too. The sites are a great size. We had a great view watching the water. We had a big cypress tree behind us where we put our chairs and sat under all day. Theres not much to do except relax while there. The bath houses were clean.

A beautiful and quiet RV campground. Easy back in access and level pads. Clean bathrooms and showers. Gorgeous sunsets and moonrises. Flocks of egrets walking the grounds to entertain you. We will return.

Very peaceful, well manicured park. Campsites nicely spaced along the river. Plenty of green space in center of loops. Some road noise but not terrible. Good education area across river on north side, unfortunately there is no close bridge to reach the north side to go to recreation park or to observe the locks in action.

Park was in pristine condition. Staff, Mike, was friendly and informative. Facilities were all clean and well kept. My wife did state it would be nice to have a shelf or something to put shampoo and other products on while in the shower. Site location was on the water with good view of the locks. Thanks for doing a great job.

Great location! The cleanest and most well-kept bathrooms and showers we have seen at a campground. The grounds are very well-kept too! Staff were very nice and friendly, very helpful as well! We loved it there and will return again after they reopen from hurricane Ian.

This was our second time here and just as nice at the first. Clean and quiet. Check out activities at Babcock Ranch, they have art shows, music and food trucks at various times. We also enjoyed riding into Punta Gorda, they have a great farmers market on Saturday mornings.

The showers ( West end) need a soap dish and a fold up stool. Every take a shower with no place to place a bar of soap. You have to use the floor. I think W. P. Franklin can do better that this. Please consider putting in soap dishes. Thank you.

Perfect campground, well groomed grounds, concrete level pads, HUGE sites, electric and water hook-ups and a clean dump station. You really can’t ask for more in a Army Corp Campground. Also the camp host was perfect

This is a beautiful small and quiet park. We had site 17 which was wonderful. All spots are cement and level. Most sites are by the water. There are a few that do not have water next to the site and these are buddy sites. All of the sites are big. We had birds singing to us every day. The restrooms/showers are very nice and very well kept. The park volunteers are outstanding and very friendly. Very relaxing park.
