What a nice campground! Large sites, plenty of shade, birds galore...and watching the boats glide past as they wait for the lock and dam.Bathrooms were well kept and clean, also. Friendly staff, always ready to help.

The non-handicap toilet in the west loop has been closed for several days. Today, the holding tanks at the east loop were full, and after pumping them out, there was still sewage backing up in the men's room. There is currently one working toilet for 43 sites for men and 2 for women. When they were working, the water level in the men's toilets in the east loop was too high. Every time I sat on the toilet, my boys went for a swim.The problems here are not unique to this campground there seems to be a shortfall in the maintenance in many ACOE campgrounds.

The couple checking me in were very nice and extremely halpful. The campground was very clean and well organized. I did have a hard time finding/seeing the site numbers though.

The locks are very nice and well kept. But the volunteer especially the gentleman leaves a lot to be desired.

The camp host(s) were great. Check in/out went smoothly. The bathhouse was very clean. The site was clean, level, and too well lit at night. Our site sucked. We were in site 41. The street light was so bright I had a difficult time enjoying the campfire. Also we have a toy hauler and we had to back into our site and our neighbor was about 6 inches from us in the back with a simple yellow paint strip dividing our sites. We had to unload/load the motorcycle in the road as we could not lower the ramp to our garage in the back of the travel trailer. Also we had to adjust our tow vehicle and place it sideways to keep it on the concrete. Very poor design on site 41. Maybe once the other part of the park completes the renovation site 41/42 can be redesignated as a single pull through site. We really did enjoy our stay and went to Hendry County Motorsports Park Race in town Saturday night, a real fun evening. All in all it was a good stay!

Campground is well kept. Sites are very nice. Restroom facilities are good. Only issue was that they had problem with hot water having to be fixed.

We had spot 40. The electric hook up was too far for us to connect They have a yellow line in front of your RV that you are NOT allowed to have any part of your RV close to it. You would get a ticket. Crazy. The electric plug kept falling out. Spot 21 Perfect. No shade, so it would get hot. Very very nice lady in office to help. Spot 40 and 1 are next to each other. You have to a driveway.

Very peaceful. Great rangers. Watched everyone fishing and CATCHING fish. Even the alligator caught some fish.

1-They have no longer laundry2- they give us a double site that we had to share with another family.3- they have only one shower working in mens room. We will not return

We showed up and got the very last spot that was a Walk-Up. Showers and bathrooms were clean. No complaints. We only were able to spend one night. Would love to go back and spend more time in this beautiful campground.
