Ortona was very nice except for barking dogs in the site across from ours. The lock was interesting to watch.

We went for a weeklong trip, only to find out that there was no fishing allowed. The bridges and fishing piers were closed.

It was quiet and laid back. The option of crossing the control structure to the lock was especially nice.I am disappointed in that fishing the spillway has been cut off on the campground side. The lock side fishing platform is shoulder to shoulder so I couldn't fish during my visit. Otherwise the camping was very nice. It is one of our favorite places, other then love bug season.

Great quite place. Fishing is good if you cross over to the other side. Walkway open until 4pm

Exceptionally clean and quiet park near the locks. Sites are level concrete pads with large gravel picnic area. Great value.

This is a small, clean and wonderful place along the river near Labelle...The Campground Managers are wonderful; friendly and engaging. Bathrooms are clean as are the well maintained grounds. Been there many times and always enjoy coming back! I do wish that they would invest in a decent WiFi system...It's the 21st century!!

Very clean quiet park. Friendly helpful managers. Sites are extremely well laid out with lots of room between each site. Very few other campers so the park was very quiet. Occasionally boats would travel through the locks. Only negatives were bugs and long weedie grass.

This is the first time ever for us in Florida, and we've been here traveling for about a month. Ortona South is the very best place we have stayed. The camp hosts was very nice and helpful, they get 10 gold stars. Our campsite was shaded and super nice, #37. I was able to get the best pictures I've ever taken at the fishing dock. Huge alligator in crystal clear water, not 15 feet away. Awesome birds, turtles, everything I love about nature. COE campgrounds are the very best America has to offer us.??????
