Very comfortable campground. Clean bathrooms. Enjoyed watching water traffic through the lock. A good base for exploring surrounding attractions.

Drinking water smells bad so had to buy jugs of water at Walmart. Farm land & canal attract lots of bugs. Power post cover was broken & post was filthy with mildew & bugs. I cleaned it off prior to electrician arriving to fix cover. Sites are well spaced & paved.

Great interaction with host. Clean bath houses. Great place to ride a bike or take a walk. Quiet and very safe.

Booking website was a little misleading when the park is locked up but failed to specify that you get a code to unlock it during your stay. Could use more lightning but overall awesome place to stay. Thx

Ortona South was a beautiful COE Campground. Half the sites are waterfront, the sites are level, the the facility was clean and well maintained. The waterfront sites on the Eastern loop are the most desirable. We'll definitely be back!

We really enjoyed our stay at Ortona Lock COE. Very well run, quiet at night and clean bathrooms & showers. Only negative was the amount of rain during our stay even knowing this is storm season.

Great campground with spacious sites. Convenient fishing pier within the campground. Very clean and well kept bathhouse and grounds. Friendly and helpful staff! I can't wait to go back!
