This is a great campground. The new camp hosts have done a wonderful job in upgrading the maintenance. Hope they stay at this campground for years.

Very nice, peaceful, quiet, a beautiful river. Watching the boats come and go through the locks was very interesting. Great places to walk.

Nice campground. Very friendly staff, clean facilities. This campground is nice for relaxing and fishing. In the city of LaBelle there is a very nice brewery with a nice restaurant (LaBelle Brewing Company).

Dump station clean but getting in and out of the hole is a very high step. Really needs a couple of steps to get in and out of for the elderly. A very nice camp ground and staff very friendly and helpful.

Very nice place direct at the river. Full huckup plus Wifi brillant.
The woman at the reception more than friendly and helpful -> recommended us a wonderful sister Campground where we met some Delphins and more.
A wonderfull time for a very good price.

Ortona South is one of the best campgrounds we have ever stayed in. Relaxing with views of boats going through the locks and watching flocks of birds fly in every evening was a daily experience. The campground is very well kept and the attendants/hosts do a great job of keeping the place running with a friendly, welcoming attitude without being intrusive. There isn’t much to do in this area, and there isn’t a playground, so it seems the campground is self-selecting for a quiet crowd.

We always love this campground, would have enjoyed more if Covid were over! Found water pressure very low, spoke to others who experienced same problems.

Our time at the park was very relaxing we found the park to be very clean and quiet and the staff very knowledgeable and friendly . The view from our site was great .
