We love Ortona!! It is quiet, relaxing place! We love watching the boats go through the locks.The bathroom and showers are always very clean.

Very nice small campground. Sites are spaced so you are not looking at your neighbor. Everything is well maintained and clean. We spent hours watching the boats transfer through the lock. We will be returning

This place is an absolute gem, the park rangers and volunteers are awesome, very quite place to relax, fish and just enjoy the nature.

Gr8 place to camp. Shower houses need so much repair and updating. No air hand dryer in the upper campground. People coming in to fish and speeding thru the campground and up the road leading into the campground. My suggestion is charge these fishermen a fee to enter and use that money to update the showerhouses. The road leading to the campground needs repairs. It is so rough in places. Our tax dollars could be put to a better use than helping illegals.

Very nice campground with level cement pads and gravel patio areas with picnic table and shelter. There are no sites that actually are 'on the river', but half are on the upper bank the other half is across the drive from the river but have a good view of it. Plenty of grassy areas, very clean and cell service (Verizon and AT&T) is very good. The one small downside is no Wi-Fi is available, but we will return again, it's a great little park.

Beautiful scenery. Blissful quiet and serene. Excellent cap hosts and Park Rangers. Clean campground. Most definitely will stay here again if we can get reservations! Highly recommended

Very clean, and hosts were very nice, we misplaced our keys when we got home and called the Host and they went down to see if they were at the site, how nice was that!!!

Great campground! Only thing that they could do to make it better is add full hookups. Hosts were very friendly and bath house's very clean.

Ortona South was amazing CLEAN! We have camped throughout the USA and have found that the USACE have some of the cleanest parks. We book with them as often as we can! The fishing dock and facilities were great, and the staff was most helpful, efficient, and friendly.

Great campground, good location for touring Lake O. Fun to watch boats go thru the lock. Occasional BIG gators!

Very quiet and clean we enjoy staying here. We were disappointed that we weren’t allowed onto the locks to watch the boats or go across with our bikes. Stupid rules if you ask me.

WE really love the park. We enjoy watching the boats go through the locks and it is very peaceful and relaxing. The sites are very well maintained. The only thing that would make it even better is sewer so we could stay longer without moving the coach.
