Great campground. One of my top 3 favorites. Both camphost couples are kind, professional, courteous and friendly. Ranger is too.

Quiet, clean, nice people and lovely atmosphere. Price since we are retired military was very reasonable.

A good CoE campground, with a few problems. The comfort station for the east loop was closed, apparently indefinitely. The sites themselves are fine, with a concrete pad and gravel patio, and the covered picnic table is a nice touch.

One of our favorite places! Clean, quite, large sites, love watching the boats! Great area to be in.I almost don't want too many campers to know about it!!! Hosts are just great!

Beautiful, serene, well kept park. Watching the locks was awesome. The sites were spacious and provided privacy. The park grounds were beautiful. Not a lot to do otherwise than to just enjoy.

Very well maintained. The camp host were very friendly and would always stop to say hello and if we needed anything to let them know. If you had to do laundry it was a 30 to 45 minute drive, would be nice if the site had laundry facilities

Have stayed at Ortona South several times, each was a great stay. Not many people, clean, quiet, and well maintained. Will go back next time we are in the area.

Beautiful park, very relaxing! Friendly staff, clean restrooms and grounds well maintained. We enjoyed the rabbits in the evening and the frogs at night. We will definitely stay again!

Best fishing spot on the Caloosahatchee River. Small campground with clean facilities in the quiet country fields. Loved every minute of our adventure! Definitely going to go camping here again!
