One of my favorite places to stay in Florida. My 3rd time here I had to move once because it's getting to be that time of year here in Florida but I went from a space that was near the bridge to a space at the beginning near the ranger station where I have stayed on my previous stays. The Staff here is always very nice and helpful. Watch out for little frogs in the power pedestals they might just give you a fright when you open to power up.

It is a great campground. It is very quiet. The water pressure could be better but other than that, perfect.

Almost magical with beautiful landscape, silence and extremely well maintained sites etc. Staff smiling and welcoming. We have decided ALWAYS to look for COE sites on our continuous US tour.

Great park with beautiful sunset views of the Caloosahatchee River. Fun things to do nearby: LaBelle Brewery is a great spot for locally brewed beer and good eats. Also, can walk or push your bikes across the lock to the other side of the Caloosahatchee River and walk or bike to Ortona Tavern for local eats and a cool brew by the water. Be sure to be back BEFORE the lock is closed at 4:00 pm otherwise, it’s 25 miles all the way around the river to get back to the campground!

Great location, wonderful views of the waterway and lock. Terrific cell service (cell tower practically on property), very well maintained facility, and great place to relax and reflect. LaBelle is 8 miles west for infrastructure. We will definitely return, and soon.

Ortona is great!! Large sites with plenty of space between them....and wonderful staff and volunteers!!
