Very laid back, relaxing trip. My stay was 4 nights on 4 different sites. The staff worked to switch me so I only had to move once. The Fish Fry on Saturday night was awesome!

A small, but typical corps of engineers campground. Very clean and so pleasantly quiet. Nice staff and price was great too. Overall, I give Ortona a 5 / 5.

Was able to get a same day reservation for one night traveling across state. Park had a level paved site with electric and water hookups. Restroom/shower facility was clean. Although I didn't need it, there is an on-site host for any issues. Had a nice, quiet night!

This is a beautiful campground. Old FL at its best! Lots of hiking and biking. Fun watching the boats go through the lock. Lots of fishing. The host was friendly and helpful. The sites are spacious. Many of the sites have limited shade. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and have already booked a return trip!

The Brewery in town. George the alligator and watching for the otter. Summertime blueberry picking is a most.

Fishing was great.All park facilities sparkling clean.The camp ground host’s were very active and you could see them actively partrolling ,cleaning ,interacting with campers in a good way,not intrusively.

This place is the highlight of our travels throughout Florida. It’s clean, friendly and has beautiful views of the water. Large campgrounds and never too close to the next camper. Fun spot to watch people fish from the dock area.

All of the campsites were very spacious and spread out. This is an extremely nice, quiet, out in the country campground. Extremely relaxing and a great place to just chill out. The restroom and shower facilities were very clean and well-maintained. The staff at the campground were very friendly and helpful.
