Great campground! Go and see manatee park across from the power plant, we enjoy watching the boats go through the locks at the campground. We went and biked about 42 miles of of the Lake Okeechobee (Lost Trail ). We saw all kinds of wildlife while on the trail. My only improvement for the campground is update the bathrooms. Walmart just 15 minutes from campground.

This campground is wonderful. It is very clean, the lots are spacious, and the view is beautiful.

Staff was very helpful in moving from a location that there was a low hanging tree that rubbed on top of our coach to a new location.

Lovely place to visit friendly staff. Great for the fisherman with one exception, if you have any trouble walking or climbing stairs you are out of luck.

This is a clean, beautiful, quiet campground on the lock and dam. The volunteer hosts were exceptional and helpful. The Army Corp employees were equally helpful. There is an abundance of wildlife with incredible stargazing at night. Excellent fishing is feet away. It is a bit of a drive to the nearest town but that said, within 25 minutes there is a Walmart in either direction. But the quiet beauty of this special place makes it worth the drive!!!

This was only an overnight stop. We stayed in site 48, which is not on the water and has no lock views. Not sure how far youd have to walk to the locks and there were sites all along the bank with no visible walk thru. Site was very clean, level and spacious. Dump station was one of the best we have used, with the surround assisting the placement and flow of the server tubes. Will hopefully be back with more time to spend there.

Great place to relax and fish. Not much here for kids unless you take an hour drive east or west.

the camp hosts are excellent so friendly and helpful. was sad to see that you can no longer get to the other side of the lock from the campground. I'm assuming its because of Covid. Hopefully it'll be open at some point in the future.
