We love the setting of Ortona South and all of its beauty. The bathhouse in the east loop needs to be torn down and replaced by a more modern one. The shower heads in the current one are green with mold and there is not much privacy in the ladies showers. There is no hand dryer or paper towels in the mens bathroom to wipe your hand. Luckily, while we were there, they finally put in trash cans in both mens and ladies restrooms, something that had been needed for years. Also, a booster pump is needed for better water pressure.

Beautiful park, well maintained. Volunteer even telephone before our arrival to make sure we had a gate code for late entry.

Very clean park. Labelle has some great restaurants. Not much to do at the park but great for a couple day stop over

Beautiful park! Love the peace views, the staff was very nice and accommendating. Only take away would be the shower and bath house, they were outdated and didn't have enough water pressure. However, it looked as if a update was coming. We almost don't want to give a great review as we would love to keep Ortona our little secret.

Nice quite COE with spots wide enough and long for big rigs. Clean and level spots. Fishing by dam was good. Good boat watching at the locks.ONLY downside no wifi and hotspot weak from T mobile.

Excellent camp. Bird watching, fishing, watching boats and tugs with barges travel through the lock and canoe. A short trip into La Belle for restaurants or shopping. The spaces are big and offer privacy and shade.

Campground is always excellent. Only downer was going a day without water. A place like that should have a better contract with a well company where they respond in a more timely manor

We really enjoy the the park. The birds, the boats and roads for bicycle riding. It is quiet and sunsets were beautiful.

Great place, clean and spacious, will be good to have better Wifi but overall a great experience.
