Overall have stayed many times. Did not like site 3 as too close together with other sites. Other sites we have stayed at here are more spacious. The bathrooms/ showers need work. Although very clean needs work on showers

Nice clean and quiet park, sites were level and spacious. Women's bathroom could used more paper towels.

Campsite was very nice and quiet. The night gate lock could be improved. You have to exit your vehicle, open the lock (which by the way sticks and is hard to open), move the gates, and lock back up. No auto gate!

Small quiet campground to chill and watch boats go through the lock, The whole process to traverse the state is very cool . One camper wanted to show his political affiliation and thankfully was told to take it down. A public campground is no place to display political paraphernalia.

i loved this park very clean well taken care of . watching boats go through the locks was nice. looking for 'gators & otters was fun too.

Nice campground with friendly hosts. The grounds and sites were well groomed and the bathrooms were very clean. The main attraction for us is the Lock where all boats pass through.

We stayed one night while traveling and were pleasantly surprised at how well cared for this facility is. Everything worked as promoted, everything was clean and we felt safe.

Beautiful campground. Clean and quiet. la Belle has stores and Fort Meyers is just over a 40 minute drive.

Campground is very well run by current hosts. They are always available to answer any questions or try their best to solve any problems which arise. Campground is neat and clean. The only downside is the continuing problem with the East bathroom and showers which have been unavailable on several occasions we have utilized the park.

We were at Ortona for 13 days. It is a beautiful park with very nice, large sites, grill, fire pit and covered picnic table. Bathhouses were dated, but very clean.Loved watching ships come through on the river. Quiet, peaceful and everyone was friendly. Will certainly return again .

This is one of our favorite campgrounds. Very clean and neat. Staff very helpful and friendly. But, the website to make reservations SUCKS. Very hard to negoitate and the results weren't what was expected. .what can be expected from any site that ends in ", gov"?
