We stayed for 6 days and enjoyed so much that we added 8 more days but a different site. Bathrooms and showers have no air so they get really hot. Bathrooms and showers need to be cleaned everyday. The shower I used 2 days had a pop can and empty container in it and I always made sure I wore flip flops so not to get fungus. Planning on coming back next year.

Campsites are very nice! I love my personal beach! Recommend Fort Pickens for beach lovers without the crowd.

The park was great, even though we got rain and needed to leave early.

Tent camping should not be allowed on the larger Rv sites

Small, nice campground with water & electric. We stayed at campsite E03.
Loop E was very open, without many trees etc. Imagine it would be quite hot in the summer, but it did allow for larger RVs in that loop.
Only stayed the one night and unfortunately it was a rainy, blustery day & night so didn’t get out to explore Ft Pickens
There is a separate $25 charge just to get to the campground, because you travel thru a National Seashore Park. Luckily we have an America the Beautiful Pass, which got us thru for no charge.

Our 40' 5th wheel fit ok even though the check in lady said it wasn't going to. She said there were limbs in the way...no limbs at all on our site. Nothing really GREAT about this park except the price, $15 a night with the America the Great card. We went to the fort and had to walk 1/2 mile because the parking closest to the fort was closed. There really needs to be some kind of info that tells about the fort as you tour it. The beaches are gorgeous, all that blinding white sand is awesome! The trails are very limited by the terrain and could be marked a lot better.

Some of the amenities are still in disrepair. Haircap wheel chair pad is gone from Langdon Beach
