Being notified about non functioning bathroom 2 weeks before trip was annoying. Our campsite seemed to be the only one without a fire pit, and practically every day we always had new neighbors. Finally the sites were very small and close together, definitely stay away from the interior campsites. I picked mine for the bathroom proximity that was closed lol.

It was such a beautiful beach and campground. Loved the self guided tour of the fort. I am planning another trip in June.

The island and fort are absolutely beautiful. The campground is neat with paved roads and camper spots. The sites are a little small. Very few trees and only a small amount of shade. The toilet areas are ok. The shower stalls are horrible, nasty and in need of repair and updating. Got to see the Blue Angels. Beaches are great with good swimming and snorkeling.

Camping trs propre.Destination de choix avec accs une superbe plage. Bel endroit pour faire du vlo ou de la marche. La visite du fort est vraiment bien. Nous y avons pass 4 jours et cet endroit est maintenant dans nos coup de coeur.

Our family has been coming to Fort Pickens since 1986. We love it there. The bathrooms could use a facelift. The showers aren't the best. We tent camp so we don't have the luxury of bathrooms other than the camp site.

Fort Pickens campground is an absolute great campground. There are plenty of spots and the water is gorgeous by the campground and the fort. The only issue is if you have to get hold of the reservation office there are no set hours on the door and no phone number to call.

The weather was perfect - cool and low humidity. The showers need some hooks or shelves to put dry clothing on and to hold toiletries. The campground was well kept and access to beach good.

Good experience nice to see the park tree restoration underway, everyone seemed to be abiding quite time and following rules, host was out and about wasnt overly ruling and picky the one I spoke with was very polite.nothing worse than a micro management host while your on vacation . Which Ive had in the past so that was a welcoming change hopefully they all are the same as the lady I spoke with. The only complaint I have is the restrooms and showers

This was our third season camp at Ft Pickens and it did not disappoint . Our two week stay was simply wonderful. The camp hosts were delightful, actively maintaining the sites and ensuring our stay was enjoyable. Unfortunately this is our last stay there as the rule enforcement on our 37 ft fifth wheel length and prohibited use of overflow parking for our truck will prevent us from staying at any sites in the park (28 ft max length.) The rule is confounding and unfair as 40 Ft Class As are permitted on the same sites and can store their cars and trailers in overflow. This needs to be corrected so we can come back to what is otherwise a jewel on the gulf!

Our four night stay was THE BEST!! We loved morning walks on the beachthe water is surprisingly comfortable! We loved the large campsites, new showers and bathrooms! What a magnificent setting!! Thank you!

Campground is very nice and well maintained. The fort and the beaches are AMAZING! I would 10 out of 10 recommend and we will be back!

Visiting the Fort is a wonderful experience and it is Beautiful there. The Area around has many activities for all ages and the food is awesome!!! Peg Leg Pete’s,Scampys,and FLOUNDERS***
