Ft Pickens is managed by wonderful staff! The park is very clean, quiet and beautiful. We did have to leave for 2 nights due to bad weather but park staff, Ranger Steven and Hosts, handled things in a very courteous and professional manner! We love our National Parks!!! Thanks staff!

Nice campground close to great beaches, and Ft. Pickens. Great walking/biking trails. Nice bath houses.

The campground was very nice, but there could be improvements to the bathrooms and showers. The entire campground was beautiful with easy access to the beaches and trails. We very much enjoyed the time there.

We have been going to fort Pickens for years because its one of our favorite spots but have noticed the campground is going downhill. We are tent campers so certain things are important to make it an enjoyable and comfortable stay. The bathrooms were disgusting. I saw the same hair in the sink for days, there wasnt any soap to wash your hands for a few days and the toilets were only half clean. The showers need to be upgraded, not sure what it is, but it looked like black mold on the walls. There isnt a camp store anymore so if you need ice you have to go to Tom Thumb outside the park which takes about an hour round trip. The park itself is wonderful with the beautiful beaches and the fort but it seems like the campground is gearing more for RVs than it is for tent campers.

Bathrooms are very bleachy clean.
Showers very clean.
Fort Pickens is worth a tour.
Blue Angels are fabulous,
Beach is beyond imagination. Sand so white and beach is spotless.
There is a dog beach but very far away from campground.
Tanya i Gilbertson is a very responsible and attentive camp host.

We enjoyed the walking trails, the beach fronts on both sides, bay and gulf, the fort is amazing and the campsites are just lovely.

Campground is amazing, with perfect location and plenty of activities. Our family visit here several times a year. Only issue is the bathhouse. Shower stalls are disgusting!! Mold everywhere in every stall!! Some have no place to hang towel! Was never clean during this stay or prior visit!!

Sites are super tight and you better bring your driving skills because the road is narrow and you'll be getting real close to your neighbors cars when backing into your site...aside from that, there's nothing more you could ever want from a campground- amazing all the way around. The sites are small and thats not changing so dont sweat it, be friendly and enjoy the beach...amazing state park!

Wonderful location on the tip of Santa Rosa Island! Miles of white sand beach to enjoy on the gulf side and beaches on the bay side as well. Fun exploring the fort! We enjoyed our stay very much!
