We had site 34 E. This was a great site, with some shade. The park is nice, the Fort is great to explore and the beach is beautiful. Our site was across from a path that walks out to the bay. Bathrooms need updating. Bonus was watching the Blue Angels practice.

So close to beautiful beaches and the Fort. Peaceful and pleasant. Would definitely come back.

Well, I always try to get in A loop, I got site E 32 this time. It was a wonderful site very close to the bay and blackbird marsh Trail. I thought it was very well situated and felt private. I was able to park my vehicle across in the road in the parking area. I will definitely try for this site again. Cell reception 1-2 bars. The dump station was pretty wonky and messed up, but I was able to accomplish dumping twice. The bathrooms continue to be a challenge. The showers are in not great condition. Given that there is no sewer, everyone must use the shower, but they have been in a state of disrepair for years now. I wish they would make those nice. Theyre starting to put these little spigots in that you cannot get under to even wash. Theyre too close to the wall. I like the new check in procedure. It was great to have a full week in the park and not get thrown out this time. It was just wonderful.

We enjoyed tent camping with electric and water hook-ups. Do not hang anything from the trees as the NPS is looking to regrow shade trees. Make sure to bring a big water cooler to stayed well hydrated so you don't have to turn on the water spicket many times a day. Definitely take the trail on the E-Loop to walk down the beach bay. The dunes and giant beached jellyfish are amazing to see! Also, make sure to catch a sunrise from the Gulf side and sunset from the Fort!

Camp host, picks an chooses who to violate at the camp site. Bathroom not cleaned, showers only had cold water, only shower area that had hot water was by laundry facility's.
Host for the ground are poor representatives for the site E.
We will not camp again here.

The laundry rooms were the worse I have seen. I did 3 loads. The washer did not clean my clothes. The dryer did not dry them. The sites were very close. People cut right through camp. The beach was wonderful.

Fort Pickens campground was a perfect peaceful getaway. The beaches are pristine and the walking trails are well-maintained and easily accessible. If you want to relax away from the tourist areas/beaches this is your place! Bring your supplies/food/ice with you since there are no facilities to purchase these items on site.

Excellent location. Decent sized sites. Clean facilities. Staff professional, courteous and friendly. Both close, AND far way from town. Enjoyed miles of leisurely strolling along beach and trails. Waking about Fort Pickens and WW2 batteries was wonderful. Friends biked and kayaked. Highly recommend.

One of the most gorgeous campgrounds I have seen! The Gulf is so very close, as is Pensacola Bay. Historic Fort Pickens is fun to ramble through. Driving through sand dunes on either side of the road is heavenly. Campground is remote enough, but not too remote. Facilities are great, except showers could be cleaner. Overall, a great experience!!! Will be going back!

We enjoyed our camping experience at Fort Pickens.the sites where appropriate for designated RV.The addition of a sewer connection would be helpful. The white sand beach was beautiful.

This was our third time to stay at Fort Pickens. We love the campground, the beach and of course Fort Pickens. Just wish it was full hook up but for the price it is great. We plan on coming back this fall or in the late winter of 2022. Love to tour the old Fort also the museum at the Pensacola Naval station, the many thrift stores and antique store. Navarre beach and pier are also awesome. All the seafood restaurants like Pegleg Pete's in Pensacola Beach, any of the Shrimp baskets, Scooters in Navarre, any of the Dewey Destin's, TC Porch, etc etc . Great seafood all along the coast. I do like to eat.
