I have visited Ft. Pickens for many years, but unfortunately, the quality of the experience has declined. The restroom facilities were in extremely poor conditionby far the worst Ive encountered at any campground. If more attention were given to maintaining cleanliness rather than strictly enforcing minor issues, such as a tire briefly touching the grass during unloading, the stay would have been much more enjoyable.During our visit, we cut short a six-night reservation after only two days due to these concerns. Adding to the frustration, while our vehicle received a warning notice for a tire on the grass, another truck across the street remained in the same condition throughout our stay without issue. This inconsistent enforcement left a very negative impression.Sadly, after years of returning, this will be my last visit.

I found the showers this year in not very good condition, no shower curtains and if it did have shower curtain was dirty or moldy. The water and pressure all good but I felt trying to get clean in a dirty room with no place to hang my towel or other clothes

The shower house loop E is as bad as one can get, No ventilation, Very HOT and Humid, no hook to hang towel, hot and cold water plumbed backward, black mold because of no ventilation, one shower out of four out of order, unbelievable. Who ever is the head ranger here should be ashamed. " A fish rots from the head down". Check other reviews, has been this way for long time.

This is such a beautiful area. Ive visited twice now, and I love coming here so much! Be aware that the showers are each in a self contained private room, however there is no shower curtain, so everything will get wet! Also the washer/dryers are $2 a pop and dont work real well.

We are regulars at Fort Pickens campground and thoroughly enjoy our visits. We do miss the camp store and wish it would open again. Love having the option of visiting the Bay or the Gulf right from the campground. Last stay, we saw dolphins in the Bay on several days. Check out the history of the Fort as it is very interesting!

We really enjoyed the campground and Fort Pickens Park! There are a lot of things to see and do. Plan on staying a week to get everything in. No fishing license is required if you want to try catching you next meal or enjoy the thrill of fishing.

Pretty much an annual stop for us as se camp our way across Florida's panhandle.Clean camp areas, modern comfort stations, white beach sands, and if we're lucky...the Blue Angels.

Loved it there, some of the sites need some minor maintenance. There was a sink hole where a tree was removed. It absolutely needs filled.

Loop A is very laid back with large sites and little traffic. The other loops are together and have more activity but are still nice. Both have easy access to the beach on both sides of the island. Really enjoyed our stay and we will be back

Fort Pickens is one of our favorite campgrounds for family get-togethers. We have been camping there for many years. Spacious spots, nice bathrooms, and surrounded by the beautiful beaches of Pensacola.

The showers in E loop are bad condition no where to hang clothes and mold on walls. Some areas around sites could use some fill to help puddling.

Decent campground, but it needs some TLC. I tried 3 different sites before I found one where the power was working.
