Very large park with lots of space for campers, as well as day visitors. Lots to do in the park. Camp spaces are a little spaced out and generally level. The park was clean as were bathrooms.

I was only able to get one night there because the reservation process was a little challenging for me. And it's a very popular part during the time I was there. I will be back and I will make sure I reserve a space well in advance. Then I'll be able to see the fort and all the history.

Not enough showers, and in addition, they were not functioning correctly... No power, no Clean. I had to use my headlamp.

We’ve camped at Ft Pickens every year, except when closed due to storm damage, for the past 35 years. We’ve enjoyed first the group site with friends and Boy Scouts, then camp sites of loop E. Again this year we brought over 60 friends with us. The beaches were awesome as always. Unfortunately the camp sites were not up to normal standards. The sites were not as clean as normal, nor the facilities this may be in part due to recent storms and issues related to operation challenges during COVID. We also missed the camp store that we’ve enjoyed having by loop E. We’ll be back again next year with our group again, hopefully these issues can be resolved and repairs to facilities completed. Some of us also experienced power issues during our stay which hopefully can be addressed as well. We love Ft Pickens and hope it can be restored to the campgrounds we’ve enjoyed all of these years camping there.

We are glad we could visit Fort Pickens again. The beaches are still beautiful. The campground is still great. The showers do need some repairs. The bathrooms were clean and updated. Staff in the office were not wearing masks though (even if the sign clearly stated that there was a Federal Mandate for all to wear masks indoors). We miss the store! We were looking forward to using the tram to get to the beach. Unfortunately, the tram only runs when the ferry is running. So we had to drive our class A motor home to the beach each time.

Nice campground to hike and bike. Interesting history at the fort. Great viewing of Navy Blue Angels practicing over the water by the parking area by the fort.
