Absolutely beautiful park. Great walking trails and lots of wildlife. Campground sites were a bit narrow but level.

Loved the area. Sites were to small and close together. Would be willing to pay more to have less sites farther apart and bigger.

Campsites are short, with many having to park their tow vehicle in overflow parking due to restrictions on parking in the grass. Site extensions are needed improvements along with attention to the poor conditions of the shower houses. Beach access is good with somewhat available parking depending on the time you arrive. Overall a good experience with improvements needed.

We've been camping at Fort Pickens for four years now. Sometimes we go in February or March and other times in September. We really love this camp ground. Lots to explore, bike paths, beach and bay, and the Blue Angels practicing. We will keep coming Im sure..

Peg Leg Petes is the best seafood restaurant around!! Noticed that the camp hosts were short by 2 in the B,C,D & E loops. Not much impact on my camping experience which was great.

We had a wonderful time! There is do much to do at the campground. Cold weather or hot, it is a fun time!

Stayed in Campground Loop C. Easy access to walking trails that took us to Fort Pickens, the Discovery Center, and to all the Batteries. Camp store is closed, but there are plenty of grocery stores in nearby Pensacola.

Rangers at check in went over rules and site parking. Host were very helpful. Park is alot better with the new rules. Park was neat and clean. We stayed from 5/14 thur 5/24 on c loop with a 36 ft motorhome and a jeep cherokee We will return next year.

Beautiful park spots are small and tight together. Toll booth to enter the island so going out to get groceries is a pain.

Didnt see the camp hosts much. Most (2) were unavailable our week there. Only saw one couple campsite host and they were going the opposite direction of traffic flow in the gold cart on the road. Thought that was a little strange.

Upon arriving at Ft Pickens I realized I had a problem with my toad vehicle. I was given all the assistance possible with real compassion. The camp is beautiful and the employees and volunteers could not have treated me better. Thanks!

The sites are roomy and the beaches are great. A bit miffed that the ferry and boats do not run in the winter, especially since a major bridge is out.

Love the beaches, viewing the old military base, and the Blue Angels flying over at the time was a real treat...free show!! Will definitely be returning in the future. The campground is quiet and easy to get to though can be just a bit tight with a larger camper trying to get backed into some of the sites. Also, as far as the campground rules go, make sure you read and follow ALL of them. The campground attendants are all polite and absolutely helpful. We were looking for a quiet place we could take our dogs and this was it. Dogs are only allowed on leashes and on certain areas of the beach that are clearly marked. The price is fantastic and honestly can't be beat for the views and experience. Absolutely love this place!
