Enjoyed our stay! Loved walking on the trails, walking the beach. We did both sides of the island and the side facing Pensacola we got some awesome pictures of the jellyfish. On the trail I got some awesome pictures of an Eagle and also Great horned owl!. At the fort area I got picture of the Osprey. We watched the Coast Guard do a basket rescue training in the Bay.

My family is so excited to see the trees regrowing throughout the park and bath houses being renovated.

Fort Pickens is always a great place. Great beaches, interesting history. Only complaint is messed up sewer dump station. Park created a 2" x 10" wood dam around the dump making it impossible to properly dump a tote without sending nasty water in all directions. Come on! OK for hose from rv but many people are staying multiple days and need to dump their wheeled tote tanks.

I didn't care for my site because it was at the intersection of all 4 loops, and there wasn't any privacy. The campground itself is nothing special, especially compared to the surrounding beauty of the trees and beaches. The fort was really cool to explore. Amazing beaches, a few short trails, and interesting batteries and relics of the Civil and WWs..

Every member of the staff at Ft Pickens Campground has been excellent. They are friendly, polite, informative and helpful. Even when a storm washed the road out trapping campers in the campground, the staff exceled in dealing with the situations in a calm, professional and friendly manner. I highly recommend this beautiful, well run campground. Just follow their organized system and you should have a fun time.

Nice campsite, easy to find and get around. Had OK cell service but Im with Boost mobile so didnt expect too much. Most of the time no service. Beaches were really nice. Got to see the Blue angels training so that was really cool.

Fabulous! Bring all your groceries with you and a way to travel if you have a motorhome. We have electric bikes so we were so happy! Beaches were beautiful and peaceful! Know it is a walk to the beaches from the road unless you go to the one closer to the check in. Have a light on the one across from Campground loop B,C,D if you come back after dark. You may go in the light and come back in the dark--need a light. The Fort was educational and nice to see. The camp hosts were amazing and responses kind and professional. It is a National Park folks. It has way more amenities than most national parks. The bathrooms are better than most national parks that just have a toilet. The visitor center at Pensacola Beach is one of the best I have ever been to! That is a must place to stop. We plan to go back. So thankful and so way wonderful!

Limited camp sites all sites are a nice size and are in walking distance of the beach for swimming or watching sunsets.

The park has well maintained facilities. There are plenty of things to do in the he area.Be sure to shop for supplies before driving the entry road to the campground.

Great walking trails from the campground including a beach walk to the Fort which I missed last year. Well maintained bathroom and shower facility and the dish washing station was welcome addition.

Our experience was great but the sites need some fill dirt placed next to the pads and full hookup would make it excellent

We have been here several times, a nice getaway place not too far from home. The beach was great this trip, I noticed it was cleaner than in the past. My campsite was easily accessible though it was smaller this time. I would really like to see them install sewer on more sites but I know that's a lot of money and work. When you go to a place with no sewer hookups you kinda expect the bathrooms to be kept up a little better, again I know it's money, but they seem to have a lot of helpers riding around on golf carts. I usually stay on site but if you want to go to the store or out to eat it's a little bit of a drive which helps in keeping people from just driving through and visiting. The park also has an entrance fee if you are not a member which also keeps the traffic down. I really like that you can walk to the Fort without having to get on the roads and the paths are clearly marked.

My boyfriend and I booked a camping trip for the weekend. It was $40 a night which was a little pricier than places we've stayed booking through Hipcamp, but all things considered, the campground is really nice! There are several bathhouses (which are very nice) and there is even laundry. The firepits are awesome (though find a place to buy firewood before coming!) and have a built-in grill that can be used on them. We spent the weekend biking, walking the trails, fishing, and exploring in general. Awesome stay and will be coming back!

Wonderful place with roomy sites and much to see and do. It was sad to see the destruction from the hurricane, but it was enlightening to see how much work had been done to open the park to guest. Keep up the good work.
One thing that is confusing....they are so many sites without electricity now. There were MANY nonelectric sites unoccupied(even on the weekend). It would seem that it would be financially beneficial to offer more sites with electricity.

Facilities were clean and generally well maintained. While the staff took COVID precautions, few campers did. Specifically while using an indoor facility. Not a rowdy place and was quite at night. Tmobile was spotty in our site (C25) but usable. Can’t comment on the RV specific features as we camp in a small teardrop camper. The water and electricity worked.
