Fort Pickens is a beautiful location. The camping is quiet and it is an easy walk to the beach. The bathrooms need some updating and it would be awesome of they could designate a dog beach area. Pensacola has two nice dog beaches but we spent more time in the car driving to them than we would have liked. The staff was friendly and trails were well maintained. We will be back.

We had enjoyed the campground on three prior occasions without issue. This time we were made to feel very unwelcome just because our wheels were not in line with our camper- even though they were on the pavement. We tried to rectify the situation once we were made aware of the rule, but the rangers were so rude it ruined our visit and we just left.

Pro: go direct to site checkin is an improvement! Cons: Verizon connectivity is poor. Dump stations need relocation & redesign. Trash dumpster locations require huge, noisy dump trucks to DRIVE thru crowded campgrounds - need redesign!

Such a beautiful place to be. Everyone is friendly. You can stay to yourself or walk around and meet people. The beach is within walking distance. The sunrises and sunsets are unexplainable. I will be back! Thank all of you for keeping it so well maintained!

This was a great experience for us to tv camp close to such a beautiful beach. The bathhouses are good and easy to walk to. The cell internet service was spotty in campground but worked fine on beaches.

Host: a person who receives or entertains other people as guests.
Tim Miller and Lee (female host) do not receive visitors well and the only entertaining they did was to make us feel unwelcome with their constant rudeness and need to make things difficult. They were very unprofessional. We understand the need for rules and regulations but treat people with respect when talking to them, which these two really struggled with.
With that being said, Minny and Benny were very sweet, helpful, and fun to chat with, as a host should be.
We will not be returning.

The lady at the entrance to the road that lead into the park was extremally RUDE. No camp store is crazy! How does a camp ground of this size so far away from everything not have a camp store. Shower facilities need drastic improvement!
