The beach is beautiful. The fort was interesting, not what I imagined. The Blue Angels do not practice in December, January or February, so I missed that. I stayed in Loop "C" and the showers were creepy, I drove 30 miles to a travel plaza with nice showers, but at $20 per shower. The shower facility in loop "E" was closed for a remodel. Hopefully that will have nice showers. They absolutely close the entrance gate in the evening so make sure you have the code with you if you leave the park.

We have been camping here for over 40 years and we always have a wonderful time. Beautiful campground. Do miss the guided night tours. My favorite was the moon walk on the beach. My eldest daughter still talks about the flashlight on the forehead to see spider eyes.

Love this place. Try to camp here every year Some of the sites arent too shady so if you are tent camping try to find one that is, at least in the warmer months. Or make sure to pack a shade canopy.

We were there Jan. during the big snow storm.. We had such a great time playing in the snow on the beach!!! And always had power.. Can't wait for our next stay.

My third time to the park. All the other campers were quiet and respectful. Beaches are beautiful.

Pay attention to the site sizes. Decent place. The bathrooms were clean. When the temperatures outside our cool, the showers may be cool too because of the vent to help with the steam.

April was a great time to visit. No large crowds, beaches were quiet. Weather was cool, not hot - no sweating to death even when touring the fort and hiking. Water was still a little chilly for my taste but others were enjoying it. Will definitely return. Campsites pads are very short. Know your total length and read site details.

This is my favorite campground I've been to. It is clean and beautiful. I also receive adequate cell service on Verizon to watch TV on my tablet.

This is such a beautiful area. Very clean area, and everyone was extremely friendly. We appreciate how dog friendly so many places were. Thanks for helping us have a wonderful vacation

We camped here December 24-26 2022, Had an excellent time exploring the forts, beach and Pensacola. Amazing span of history captured here.

The campground was very clean and maintained.One of the camp host,Zach,was very helpful.I would like to see bigger RV pad,like table area and sewer hook up.We plan on booking again!

Nice campground, however the length restrictions are truly enforced. You must fit your car and camping backed in on the parking pad or pulled in forward on the pad. No cross parking or on the grass. You must fit in the spot! Beautiful location though.

Beautiful site. Nice walking and biking trails, plus Fort Pickens historical site. Beautiful beaches, lovely landscape.

Fort Pickens campground is nice and has a great location! However camping spots are not well described since there is only handful of spots with a shade. Camp service is very poor starting with checking in (you paid for reservations 6 months ahead and you are forced to get to office as soon as they open, not friendly service, very rude people handle that) to bathrooms and well outdated showers. No dogs on the beach is strictly enforced even for a walk in early morning, they are not pet friendly! Your pet has to be locked in if you want to enjoy beach any time. If you have complaints, they just don’t care and never try to make your vacation better, just leave if you want, no refund and no change will be made to please you! They do admit they have lots of complaints like it’s something to be proud of? It’s very sad that federal employees have that kind of attitude, many thing urgently need change there!
