This was our 4th time here. We absolutely love it! You can't beat the beauty and peacefulness!! Yes the showers are a little run down but they are completely serviceable, but for $40 dollars a night, what do you expect?!. The camp host were fantastic and the weather was perfect! We are already planning to go back next year!

The bathhouse's is very nasty and black mold is in everyone of them so shower in your own unit

Bath rooms a little dirty.

Very nice park. Only drawback was that there was barely enough room for RV & extra vehicle and not enough overflow parking spaces. There is no sewage connection and dump station is not easy navigated with a 32ft. Motorhome.

Love Fort Pickens, not the fanciest campground around but if you like being really close to beautiful beaches that aren't crowded it's a wonderful place to camp. Nice basic sites with access to clean bathhouse. Some of the sites are a little on the small side but plenty of overflow parking available. Just a nice place to camp and priced really reasonably.

Weather forced the closing of the campgrounds one day earlier than what we had planned; otherwise, we had a good time.

We like the campground. We had two reservations so when we checked out of one spot we knew we had 3 hours before we could check into the next spot. We took our RV to a parking area and relaxed. Then we checked with the check in office and they let us check in an hour early. Yeah! When we got to the site a surly camp host wouldn't let us in our new spot even though we had a tag from the office. It was a Saturday. We asked if they still need to cut the grass or do any maintenance at the spot. He told us they don't do any of that on the weekend. So, they weren't doing anything with the spot but wouldn't let us park our RV an hour early. Come on! I get following rules, but when it wasn't necessary... why? It left a sour taste in our mouth. Didn't make sense at all.

Too difficult to get reservations.

They need to let people park beside camper, and not tell people to park down the road. Only park that I know does this .They have tree limbs hanging low in camping spots and you can’t back camper all the way back .

Some of the sites were really tight for my 34 ft motorhome, but the price was reasonable with my America the Beautiful Senior pass. It was a 10 minute walk to the gorgeous beach!

Weather was good, which is the primary prerequisite . Facilities were clean and available. The beaches the sunsets, the Fort, the batteries, and the trail provided plenty of activities. Not to mention fishing! Bring a bike.

This trip was simply to get out of town and a little warmer weather, at a location we could ride our bikes and hike a bit. The last time we were at Ft Pickens was a little less than 30 years ago with the kids. Great experience. Covid has affected the Ranger-led tours, but the National Seashore, the fort, and gun emplacements are as interesting as ever. The campground was excellent, restrooms and showers were well maintained.

Weak power from pole, had power issues for 4 days and could not get maintenance to come check out my power. The shower was not pleasant. Had issues with the jet stream water pressure. I avoided showering for the remainder of the trip. Not a whole lot to do. Nice sunsets though.
