Gorgeous beaches close to the campground, a wonderful bay that is calmer than the ocean, a lovely point to fish at, a great fort to explore, camp sites that are spacious. A great park!

Mens bathroom had no toilet seat Tree limbs too low in many locations which a travel trailer could not back inContractors cut grass blowing grass and sand dust all over cars and rvs , peoples tents and possessions.Other contractors installing new fire pits driving heavy equipment over grass and sandGuess could not park with one tire on the sand or grass but the contractor tore the place up.

Interesting historic area with close access to gorgeous beaches and tour of the Fort area. Pretty trees in the campground area, and quiet. Showers and dump station available close by.

We have been going to Fort Pickens for years! We love it! The white sand beaches are beautiful! The campsites are well spaced. Nowhere else can you be enjoying the beach and have fighter jets or the Blue Angles do fly bys from the Naval Airbase! The only negative is the bathhouse. So hot! The old one at least had some ventilation!

The Ft. Pickens area is absolutely gorgeous. The beach was almost completely empty and peaceful all day. It was an easy walk from campground loop A. The campground was clean and quiet with many trails to hike or bike and they were dog friendly which is important to us. There are still hurricane repairs that need to be made to the beach pavillion. The bathrooms were okay and the laundry was clean and adequate. We have no complaints and already rebooked another stay!

Absolutely beautiful. I had been a few times to visit the Fort but had not brought the camper. Its an incredible experience, beautiful grounds, spotless facilities. It truly is at the top of my list of most beautiful places.
Love the beach as always. Miss the camp store though. Everything was fine. Camphost greeted us right away.

After a rager of a wind and rain storm with massive flooding, it took some time to gather our things in the morning. The next campers showed up and must have told on us to the host because we were past check out time. We were soon called and unceremoniously asked to clear out. Not really the park's fault... Just rude people.

Well kept and quiet. Facilities were nice. Would be nice to trim some tree branches over parking spots.

Site A8 has a tree limb that is very low and tore a hole in my roof. I mentioned it to the registration ranger that it needs to be trimmed but she said it was not possible. Preservation of natural environment.

This place is amazing. The beach is incredible. The first loop doesn't have the boardwalk option because it's broken but the second one does. There is some parking by the second loop if you are not staying there and then you can use that boardwalk to get to the beach. If you're a history buff there is plenty to learn about what they did here during ww2. One our favorite stays in Florida so far.

If there are speed tests submitted for a campground the campsite icons will be colored based on the average download speed and the border will be colored based on the average upload speed.
In this example Campsite #123 has very good download speeds and decent upload speeds. If a campsite has a solid yellow color it means there was no data speed detected in the test(s). Clicking on a campsite icon reveals more details.
